Copenhagen night: restaurant, bars & music
Stop 1: the restaurant. I’m more sushi and sashimi. Concerning this Danish gastronomic restaurant (picture 1), I will keep in mind the incredible view far from tourits centers, fireworks display and the ab fab time with my buddies.
What about an afro beat concert with the Deodato band? Big bonus: in the background a sea view. A quick stop at the SAS Royal Hotel to visit the father of the Danish design Arne Jacobsen: the hall is pretty small and outdated and it was too late at night to visit the restaurant, so…
Stop 4: a disco. The only interest of Karriere is the folk Meatmarket area. For me, not enough to stay there more than two minutes: let’s move to the Ruby. A kind of Copenhague lounge, eighties noisy rock – quite terrible (same music plays in local radio, like if time has been stopped). Nice ambiance, but no communicative vibe, like in some London and NY clubs. It‘s pretty cold, don’t forget to bring your party friends!

Copenhague, la nuit: restaurant, bars et musique
Arrêt 1: le restaurant. Je suis plutôt sushi, sashimi. Donc de ce restau gastronomique danois (photo 1), je ne retiendrai que la vue, les feux d’artifice et le superbe moment passé entre amis, loin des foyers touristiques.
Direction le concert d’afro beat du groupe Deodato, sur fond de mer toujours. Un petit coucou à l’architecte et père du design danois, Arne Jacobsen, dans l’historique SAS Royal Hotel (1956-61). J’ai trouvé le hall assez “vétuste”, pas en pu voir plus sommes arrivés trop tard.
Arrêt 4: un club. L’unique intérêt de Karriere: sa localisation dans un Meatmarket assez folklo. Trop léger comme argument pour y rester plus de deux minutes: on zappe pour le Ruby. Un lounge façon Copenhague, musique eighties rockisante bruyante – épouvantable (la même que joue la plupart des radios ici, à croire que le temps s’est arrêté) dans un appart. Ambiance cool: rien à voir avec l’allégresse communicative de certains clubs londoniens ou New Yorkais. C‘est plutôt froid: accessoires indispensables, vos potes!
Oui, cette fille a bien un tatouage d’écrevisse sur l’épaule!
